Paper Options

We can print on any size and colour paper up to A3, including A5, A4, A3 and B4.

We use high quality 120gsm as standard, which is 50% heavier than regular copy paper.

All our printers are laser printers, for the best print quality available.

Our binding options are as follows:

Tape Bind (Accordion Fold)

  • Accordion fold tape binding is ideal for theatre parts, recording session parts, and one-off concerts. More than two pages at a time can be visible on the music stand if needed.

  • Printed single sided and taped. A4 and B4 works best.

Tape Bind (Booklet)

  • Booklet tape binding is mainly used for conductor's scores for recording sessions, due to near-silent page turns. It can also be used for any other conductor's score, e.g. for concerts or theatre.

  • Printed double sided and taped. Usually A3 but any size works.

Saddle Stitch (Staple Bind)

  • Saddle stitch binding can be used for parts in all situations, and smaller full scores. It looks very professional so is often used for published music.

  • Printed double sided, folded and stapled. Maximum size A4.

Coil Bind

  • Coil binding is great for scores and parts in all situations, especially when there's a large page count to bind into one booklet.

  • Printed double sided and coil bound. Any size up to A3.

  • Clear PVC front cover and leather-effect black card back cover as standard.

Comb Bind

  • Comb binding is very similar to coil binding, but easier to make changes to if a page needs replacing - however, page turns are slightly noisier.

  • Printed double sided and comb bound. Any size up to A4.

  • Clear PVC front cover and leather-effect black card back cover as standard.

Ring Bind

  • Ring binding is great for when there are regular changes, such as at a workshop or rehearsal. A large amount of music can be put into the binder, and pages can be moved around and replaced easily if needed.

  • Printed double or single sided, hole punched, and put in ring binder. Any size up to A3.

Lamination

  • Lamination is used to protect music from the weather, such as march cards or outdoor concerts. Laminated music usually wouldn't be bound, so would be used as loose laminated sheets.

  • Printed single or double sided and laminated. Usually A5, but any size up to A4 works.
